Presentazione
Un attore e un’attrice s'incontrano per mettere in scena una vicenda... la storia su cui si ritrovano d’accordo e che li tiene avvinti da quando erano piccoli è quella di un gatto che prova a tutti i costi di acciuffare un uccellino.
I due iniziano così a costruire e vivere intensamente il gioco teatrale e i loro ruoli: il gatto prende forma nel linguaggio del corpo che ricrea i ritmi e la fisicità del cacciatore felino; l'uccellino invece da un calzino si trasforma in un pupazzetto caratterizzato da una propria presenza vocale: ventriloqua.
La dinamica è quella in cui ogni cosa può trasformarsi in qualcos'altro, purché sia piacevole e divertente.
Il “gioco-conflitto” tra il gatto e l'uccellino via via porta alla scoperta dell’insoddisfazione di entrambi in un crescendo di situazioni dove il mancato successo del predatore e l'ansia della preda arrivano ai massimi livelli.
Quando non c'è più niente da perdere, nasce l'amicizia, la solidarietà nella diversità, l'importanza reciproca dell’uno per l'altro. Da questo divertente parossismo inizia la curiosità verso l’altro, e la scoperta che dalle differenze nascondono l'amicizia e l'importanza della diversità. Questi temi spesso sono agiti e sentiti proprio in giovanissima età e la riflessione è resa ancora più significativa (e talvolta necessaria) in un presente sempre più caratterizzato da individualismo e solitudini. Nello spettacolo si narra l'incontro con l'insolito, il libero arbitrio, l'importanza delle proprie scelte. Siamo sempre più esposti (anche in tenera età) alla pressione sociale e alla necessità di conformarci a determinati modelli. L'insolita amicizia che nasce tra i due diventa così anche un'occasione di crescita e di liberazione: la scelta coraggiosa di rimanere fedeli a se stessi, ma anche di rompere gli stereotipi e le pressioni degli schemi sociali dandosi reciprocamente la possibilità di un'apertura al nuovo.

Abbiamo voluto parlare con simpatia di conflitto, di paura, di compassione, di fiducia e del valore di imparare da ciò che è diverso.
Il movimento e il racconto dell’attrice-narratore e uccellino (ventriloqua) s'incontrano per dar vita a suggestioni comiche e poetiche.
I momenti di maggiore tensione narrativa sono alternati da momenti di gag divertenti che tengono sempre alta l'attenzione.
Il ritmo dello spettacolo e il dipanarsi della storia tengono avvinti i bambini coinvolgendoli con immediatezza nei diversi piani narrativi, appassionandoli alle vicende dei due personaggi.
Lo spettacolo mescola diversi linguaggi performativi: danza, mimo, teatro di figura, ombre, teatro di narrazione e di prosa, ventriloquo, clown, illusionismo. Questo mix rende lo spettacolo adatto anche ai più grandi e, allo stesso tempo, di forte impatto per i più piccoli.

v Presentation
The synopsis - An actor and an actress meet to stage a story and they agree on, a story close to their hearts since they were small about a cat that, at all costs, tries to catch a bird.
The two begin to build their roles and live intensely the plot: the cat takes shape with a movement vocabulary that recreates the rhythms and physicality of the feline hunter.
The bird is instead, a sock that turns into a puppet characterized by the vocal presence of the ventriloquist. The dynamic is that everything can turn into something else, as long as it's enjoyable or funny.
The "game-conflict" between the cat and the bird continues until the dissatisfaction of both characters in the building up of situations where the predator's failure and the anxiety of the prey reaches high intensity levels. From this humorous paroxysm, curiosity of the other begins, and the discovery that in their differences hides friendship and the importance of diversity. When there is nothing left to loose a friendship is born, through solidarity in their diversity and mutual importance for each other.

These themes are often played out and felt at a very young age and it is even more significant to reflect upon, and sometimes necessary in a present which is increasingly characterized by individualism and solitude.
The performance speaks of an unusual meeting, of free will and of the importance of personal choice. We are increasingly exposed, even at a tender age, to social pressure and the necessity to conform to certain models. The unusual friendship that is born between the two becomes thus an opportunity for growth and liberation: the courageous choice to remain faithful to oneself, but also to break the stereotypes and the pressures of social patterns by mutually granting the possibility to open up to a new and unknown reality.
We wanted to speak with sympathy of conflict and fear, as well as about compassion, trust and affection and the value to learn from what's different.
The actress-narrator's movement and ventriloquism mix to give life to a comic narrative with poetic suggestions. The moments of greater tension alternate with moments of funny gags which keep the attention high.
The shows rhythm and the unreeling of the storyline keep the kids passionately involved with immediacy in the different narrative planes of the two characters.
The show mixes several performance languages like, dance, mime, figure theater, shadows, prose theater, ventriloquism, clownery and illusionism. This mix makes the it suitable for even older kids, and especially of great impact for the youngest.
