Questo lavoro corale e collaborativo approfondisce un processo creativo orientato all'improvvisazione (estemporaneità) e alla produzione di suono, movimento, immagine e luce.
Questo formato condiviso e cumulativo tra quattro artisti esperti, accende la creatività e attinge alle loro stesse esperienze per mettere in contrappunto gli elementi scenici, trovare risonanze tra loro e giostrare anche con gli opposti: il silenzio, l’oscurità, l’immobilità e l’assenza di forma.

Alessandro Certini e Charlotte Zerbey conducono la loro ricerca tecnica e artistica in nord Europa a partire dal ‘79 per poi fondare nel 1989, in Italia, la compagnia di danza contemporanea Company Blu. Il percorso artistico della compagnia va dalla produzione di spettacoli alla ricerca coreografica, dall'improvvisazione alla didattica. Altro ambito d’elezione è stato il dialogo fra partiture danzate, immagini video-arte, scenografia e testo integrate alla drammaturgia delle azioni.

Company Blu è da anni in residenza presso il Teatro della Limonaia di Sesto Fiorentino e, con i trienni 2013-2015, 2016-2018 e 2019-2021 è capofila del progetto TRAM (Teatro di Residenza Artistica Multipla) sostenuto dalla Regione Toscana e dal Comune di Sesto Fiorentino.

Laura Kavanaugh e Ian Birse presentano spettacoli audiovisivi e installazioni generative utilizzando sistemi hardware / software appositamente progettati. Con il nome collaborativo Instant Places hanno creato opere d'arte in loco in Giappone, Australia, America e Europa.

Company Blu Production with the support of MIBACT, Tuscany Region; and the city of Sesto Fiorentino together with Instant Places supported by the "Canada Council for the Arts".

This choral and collaborative work delves into a creative process oriented towards improvisation (extemporaneousness) and the production of sound, movement, image and light.
This shared and cumulative format between four expert artists ignites creativity and draws on their own experiences to counterpoint the elements on stage, to find resonance between them but also to play with the opposites of silence, darkness, stillness and the absence of form.

Alessandro Certini and Charlotte Zerbey carry out thier technical and artistic research in Northern Europe starting from '79 and then founded in 1989, in Italy, the contemporary dance company Company Blu. The artistic path of the company ranges from the production of performances to choreographic research, from improvisation to teaching. Another area of choice was the dialogue between dance scores, video-art image, scenography and text integrated with the dramaturgy of the action.

Company Blu has been in residence for years at the Teatro della Limonaia in Sesto Fiorentino with triannual grants 2013-2015, 2016-2018 and 2019-2021, and is the TRAM (Theater of Multiple Artistic Residence) lead partner, program supported by the Tuscany Region and the city of Sesto Fiorentino.

Laura Kavanaugh and Ian Birse present audiovisual shows and generative installations using specially designed hardware / software systems. Under the collaborative name Instant Places they created works of art on site in Japan, Australia, America and Europe.
